In Nigeria, FHI is engaged in providing public health services and implementing programs in HIV/AIDS. TB reproductive health, malaria and health systems strengthening in partnership with the Government of Nigeria. SENIOR INVENTORY AND ASSETS OFFICER

Location: Country Office Abuja
The senior inventory Officer will be responsible for managing and coordinating office inventories.
Specific Job Responsibilities
- Coordinate the complication and maintenance of accurate inventory data
- Supervise the verification of assets and ensure that inventory data are accurately entered into the FHI Nigeria electronic inventory system
- Ensure that the compilation and maintenance of records of FHI property in the electronic inventory system complies with FHI guidelines
- Supervise the updating of the inventory system to all activities such as additions, disposals, movement/relocations, retrievals, change in status/condition, etc
- Coordinate the distribution of inventory to the end users
- Coordinate the generation of standard and customized reports
- Contribute to planning coordination and allocation of office space in consultation with the Associate Director Administration, Director of Shared Services and Deputy Chief of Party (Management)
- Supervise the development of linkages with other departments (e.g procurement, finance) and related forms for tracking procurements and payments
- Coordinate periodic inventory/verification of all listed property
- Ensure that the inventory list is accurate and complete and that all required data fields are populated and accurately entered into electronic inventory system
- Coordinate processes and activities affecting asset management in order to ensure optimum and consistent service levels and superior customer services
- Develop and produce performance metrics, reports and scorecards.
Minimum Requirements
- Candidate should have BA/MBA or a similar university degree
- Minimum of 5 years relevant experience in office/asset management, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
- Experience managing office services in a large private or not for profit entity
- Experience using an inventory management software
- Familiarity with US federal property management standards (22CFR226).
