We are a leading international nongovernmental organization working in the area of HIV and AIDS care and treatment. We require the services of resourceful, experienced and dynamic candidates to fill the position below:

REGIONAL PEDIATRIC AND CLINICAL ADVISOR

Location: Kaduna, Gombe

Responsibilities:

• Provides technical guidance and clinical expertise in pediatric HIV/AIDS care And treatment,
• Works with clinicians and local HIV care and treatment teams to guide the development of pediatric initiatives,
• Supports facility-level program operations including pediatric HIV testing and the care and treatment of HI V-infected infants, children, and teens
• Provides mentoring, training and supportive supervision to site clinicians providing pediatric palliative care, antiretroviral treatment, counseling and adherence support.

Minimum Requirements:

• Candidate must possess advanced Medical degree
• 5 years post qualification clinical experience
• 2 year clinical experience in care and treatment of pediatric HIV/AIDS patients
• Excellent grasp of clinical issues and current literature in pediatric HIV/AIDS treatment
• Experience in developing country health care programs
• Experience in training
• Fluency in written and spoken English
• Ability to relate and work well with colleagues

Other Requirements

• This position requires candidates that are proficient in the use of Microsoft office Suite and Internet/Emails.
• Significant amounts of travel required for this position
