Christian Health Association of Nigeria (CHAN)’s Nigeria indigenous capacity Building (NICaB) Project, is advertising for short term position:
The NICaB project made possible by the American people through the president’s Programme for Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief and the us Agency for International Development (USAID) is implemented by CHAN in partnership with Management Sciences for Health (MSH). NICAB expands comprehensive HIV and TB programs in six states across Nigeria and builds the capacity of collaborating faith-based health facilities and community based organizations to respond to the HIV epidemic.
Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Strategic Information Assistant-1
Location: FTC-Abuja
The Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E)/Strategic information assistant support the M&E Specialist to build and strengthen M&E and communication and information sharing practices in a project whose objectives are to:
- First degree with experience (or second degree with no experience) in public health, demography, epidemiology, health administration, or equivalent.
- Minimum of 4 years experience (for first degree holders) in monitoring and evaluation of health and/or programs, including the use of data to inform decision making, communication, planning, resource allocation and other strategic initiatives.
- Experience designing strategic information and communication plan, Good working knowledge of descriptive, inferential and advanced statistics.
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills and ability to communicate technical information clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical colleagues.
- Strong skills in MS Excel Word, PowerPoint and Access, and at least one data management software program (SAS, SPSS).
- Must be able to travel domestically and internationally as may be required.
NOTE:
There are no relocation allowances available for this position and the estimated period of performance for this position is 9 months, depending on availability of funds.
