LECTURER II (DEPARTMENT OF BOTANY AND MICROBIOLOGY) – Faculty of Science

Area of Sepecialization (Microbial Genetics)
Applicants should possess a Ph.D degree in Microbiology with bias for Biotechnology, Bioconversions, their applications along with the use of modem genetic tools including Gel Electrophoresis, DNA Probes and the Polymerase Chain Reaction. Evidence of candidate’s interaction or cooperation with Research Institutes of repute will be an advantage.

Salary Scale
Conuass 3 (N897,501 X N25,259- N1,074,314)

Conditon of Services
The appointments which are to commence as soon as possible, in each case are for three years initially. They may be extended for specific periods or confirmed to relating age. Fringe benefits include a pension scheme or compapartive arrangement as may be appoved from time-to-time by the University Council, residential accommodation or housing allowance at an approved rate and Passages for approved Overseas Study Leave.
