Position Title: Laboratory Officer

Laboratory Officer
The Laboratory Officer will liaise with the Senior Laboratory Advisor and the Country Office Laboratory Technical Officers to provide technical support to implement high quality laboratory services in the GHAIN project within the state.
Job Description
v Coordinate the daily operations of all laboratory services at the state level
v Coordinate laboratory support services for counseling and testing, HIV clinical care including OI management and ART and PMTCT at the state level
v Coordinate the Inventory management and stock taking system of the CHAIN laboratory services in the state
v Represent FHI/GHAIN on issues of laboratory management of HIV/AIDS at the state level
Minimum Requirement
v B.Sc. and AMLSCN, B.MLS or AMLSCN and FMLSCN
v Minimum of 5 years post-NYSC experience
v A minimum of 3 years experience in the provision of laboratory support for HIV/AIDS
v Sound understanding of HIV/AIDS technical areas
v Familiarity with the Nigerian public sector health system, NGOs and CBOs is desirable
