Health Systems Strengthening Liaison Officer at an International Organization

An International Organization managing a large programme to support the Strengthening of the care system in Nigeria is recruiting qualified professional staff to fill a senior level technical position and a junior/mid level administrative position.

The programme provides technical assistance in systems strengthening in Nigeria. The programme addresses the financing, governance, operational, and capacity-building constraints that block access to and use of priority population, , and nutrition services in the country. The programme shares an office with another programme of the same organization and is located in Abuja.

Systems Strengthening Liaison Officer:

Will provide technical and programmatic oversight of the planning, implementation and monitoring of all project activities. S/he will ensure regular and timely communications with the USAID Mission and other relevant partners in Nigeria. S/he will provide relevant technical guidance to the Ministry of Hearth and other partners across the six building blocks of the system. In collaboration with the organization’s international headquarters office, will ensure proper financial management of relevant project resources and guarantee timely and well-organized implementation of project activities.

Qualification Requirements include

A Masters Degree in Public or field; or is a plus. Candidate must have 8 or more years of experience in international , particularly with an emphasis on systems strengthening. HIV/AIDS and TB. Experience working with large donor-funded projects, in particular USAID programs, is highly desirable.
