Community Mobilization Officer (CMO): ZAMFARA
SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS
- Provide technical oversight and leadership for the development of communications plans and strategies for ZAIHAP projects
- Work and share strategies with the project’s international partners (Save the Children) to achieve the best possible project results for community activities for the project.
- Provide technical support, leadership and monitoring to the project’s local partners in the state
- Take a lead in the development, adapting, reviewing and the distribution of CM and BCC materials including training materials and tools
- Local the projects community activities collaboration efforts with the SMOHSACA and other relevant community group in the state
- Documents detailed reports on all the community activities carry out by ZAIHAP and her partners in the project state
KEY QUALIFICATION
- Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in public health, social sciences and other related courses
- Demonstrated track record of successful events, program coordination, project management and ability to multi task
- Experience with HIV/AIDS program supported by bilateral agencies such as USAID and international agencies such as WHO and World Bank preferred, particular those related to Voluntary Counseling and Testing, prevention of Mother-to-child Transmissions, and care and treatment will be desirable
- Experience in working and counseling activities of local NGO in Nigeria
- At least three years of training experience in the community mobilization field
