Procurement Manager Ref: PHI/AD/01/2009
Location: Jos
Competitive applicants must:
- Have a Bachelor’s Degree or HND in any of the Social Science; Be a committed and fervently God-fearinq person of proven integrity, honesty and accountability
- Have 5-10 years post-NYSG experience in procurement management;
- Be a member of relevant professional bodies;
- Be conversant with other PEPFAR/USAID reporting and other requirements;
- Have sound knowledge of the procurement processes, law of contracts, negotiation skills, the ability to write bids specification and contracts and to establish and maintain effective relationships.
- Have sufficient experience in grant supported projects;
- Be computer literate with working knowledge of MS world and MS Excel;
- Have strong organizational skills, ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines;
- Be willing to work irregular hours; knowledge of accounting and/or a postgraduate qualification in the relevant field will be added advantages.
