Our client is a new media independent agency and a member firm of a global network of media services firms within the Omnicom Group the biggest marketing communications group in the world. The agency is founded on a culture of thought leadership, creativity and innovation with a mission to pioneer new thinking in media planning, buying and control at a time when consumer connection possibilities are proliferating and the most demanding advertisers are seeking integration. The board comprises tested professionals with a track record in the marketing communications and promotions industry.

To provide the strategic direction and dynamic leadership required to translate this vision into reality, the agency is seeking to appoint a seasoned executive to the position of:

Position: MANAGING DIRECTOR (Ref: NMIA/109/MD

The Role

Reporting to the Board of Directors, you will be expected to assume immediate responsibility for the direction, development and general management of the agency. Yon will also be expected to:

• Adapt the agency’s global philosophy and methodology to the local environment and emergent space
• Develop and implement business strategy in line with shared vision and values
• Direct partnership for, and make investment decisions on new media
• Achieve parity on best buying rates for traditional media
• Ensure the smooth running of the agency and shape her future

Qualification and Experience

• Candidate must possess a University degree with preference for 2:1 or MBA
• Should have 10 years post graduation management experience in a reputable marketing organization or a marketing communications agency.
• Ability to think outside the box and work with new media partners
• Already operating at senior management level with appreciation for what it takes to integrate various functions at general management level
• Excellent leadership, managerial and interpersonal skills couple with an open-minded approach to problem solving
• High level of integrity

Remuneration
