A Major Downstream Oil Marketing Company is seeking to recruit an experienced personnel to fill the position below in the Policy Government and Public Affairs

Position: Manager (PGPA)

Qualification:

• University first degree or its equivalent in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Humanities, Social sciences or any related discipline. Master’s degree will be an advantage.

Experience

• Minimum of five (5) years of relevant work experience

Key Responsibilities

• Community Engagement and Government Relations
• Handling of media and other external parties communications
• Ensuring compliance of the department to information protection guidelines Preparing routine correspondences to various external stakeholders
• Organization, coordination and actual implementation of Corporate/special events

Skills:

• Good knowledge of the media and the political/economic environment
• Superior Communication, Leadership, Organizational, Interpersonal,  written, verbal and analytical skills
• Excellent reportorial skills
• Good knowledge of the Oil and Gas business
• Creative/features writing/editing skills
• Proficiency in the use of computer applications for editing
• PowerPoint presentation and word processing
