We are a leading international non-governmental organization working in the area of HIV and AIDS care and treatment. We require the services of resourceful, experienced and dynamic candidates to fill the post of:

Human Resources Manager. Abuja

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for implementing HR Rules and regulation, staffing assessment, recruitment, orientation tot new staff, training, staff welfare, salary and benefits administration.
  • Provide HR support services to the line Managers.
  • Oversee maintenance and timely updates of HR records on staff, and staff related matters.
  • Review- cases of indiscipline and recommend appropriate discipline measures to the Associate Director HR/admin,
  • Administer staff performance management system and implement decisions on various human resources issues
  • Advise staff on statutory requirements such as pension scheme
  • Supervise and monitor staff health insurance providers to ensure qualitative services to staff
  • Initiate process for paying staff benefits and liaise with other organizational units to ensure timely processing of staff benefits including terminal benefits payments to services providers etc
  • Advice on group Insurance policy and submit claims for Group Insurance compensation
  • Provide effective management of other personnel actions and transactions such as staff leave, compensation, payroll inputs and time and attendance
  • Supervise the HR Assistant
  • Advise management on staff welfare.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree plus membership of Chartered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria or other recognized Human Resources Professional body.
  • 10 years experience, with minimum 3 years at Human Resources Management level, Strong & critical thinking, analytical and problem solving .kills
  • Strong   Interpersonal   Relations   and communication skills
  • Ability to exercise judgment and  discretion  in  sensitive and or confidential personnel and organizational matters.
  • A team player and ability to motivate team members for concerted efforts and achievement.

General Requirement

  • This position require candidate that are proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite and Internet/Emails
  • Significant amounts of travel required for this position
