A fast-growing, dynamic asset management company is seeking a talented professional expatriate to fill the position below:

General Manager/Financial Controller

The expectation is that the candidate must possess the skills necessary to function in a contributing management capacity. The functions include, but not restricted:

Coordinate fiscal procedures with institution administrators, information technologists, department heads and determine methods of improving fiscal procedures,

Maintain cash projection activities.

Review analysis, develop and implement new financial systems and procedures.

Monitors, reviews and/ or audit the accounting fiscal aspects of contracts, ensures contractual fiscal compliance, .

Analyze complex financial and statistical data and determine their significance.

Approve and control expenditure funds.

Managerial responsibility

Monthly reconciliation of results, cost review and detailed variance analysis

Involvement in quarter end process and full year audit process

Location: Abuja, Nigeria,

ABILITY

· Ability to supervise and coordinate effectively

· Establish effective, orderly procedures dealing with financial records.

· Detail oriented, organized and ability to communicate effectively with

· variety of people,

· Excellent leadership skills

· Analytical mind and creative ability.

Minimum Qualification

A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration or any other financially related discipline. In addition an MBA and a minimum of 4 years professional experience as a finance/fund manager/analyst is required. Professional Certification would be an added advantage. The candidate must be up to date with accounting issues and requirements (especially VAT, FIRS), work well in a team environment and possess advanced Excel skills. The candidate must possess the ability to get things done, accurately, first time, to tight timescales. The salary package and conditions of service are very attractive.
