General Manager (Investment Banking)
Job Summary:
To work closely with the Executive Director (Operations) in ensuring that the strategic intent, vision and mission of the DFI is achieved through the effective management of departments under his/her domain.
Specifically, the GM (Investment Banking) will:
- Provide overall strategic leadership, direction and guidance for departmental heads.
- Supervises the following departments;
- Project Finance
- Trade Finance
- Corporate Finance
- Operational Risk Management
- Issuing House and Investment Advisor Services
Minimum Qualification:
- First degree or its equivalent in Economic, Accounting, Banking & Finance or Business related discipline.
- MBA or a relevant professional qualification.
- Twelve (12) years cognate experience, at least three which must be in executive management position.
- Computer literacy and comfortable with database, spreadsheet and word processing packages.
Competence and Skills
- Excellent understanding of local and global financial markets.
- In-depth understanding and knowledge of best practices and trends in capital market operations.
- Demonstrated commitment to ethical standards and high levels of integrity.
- Proactivity a desire to be ahead of the market.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Good presentation, facilitation and communication skills
- High sense of responsibility, accountability and dependability.
