Our client is an indigenous pharmaceutical company and a key player in the Industry with robust ethical and OTC brands. The company has embarked on massive expansion project and will start local manufacturing of some of her brands early in 2010. In order to beef up the sales force for the challenges ahead, the company urgently requires results oriented sales professionals to fill the below position.
Position: District Manager (North)
The successful candidates will report to the Field Sates Manager and will be responsible for achieving the redistribution objectives of the company for the wide range of OTC brands through effective management of the trade and team of Sales Representatives deployed to their various territories. They will be based in Kano.
Qualifications, Experienced and Competences:
- Candidate must possess a good bachelor’s degree in business or the natural sciences
- Not less than five years experience in redistribution sales as a Sales Representative preferably in the pharmaceutical industry, two of which must be as Senior Sales Representative.
- Track record of achievement in previous employments
- Good interpersonal and communications skills.
- Deep- knowledge of the sales territory and the industry: only candidates who are working on have worked in the territories will be considered
