Director, Baptist Mission Schools
Description of Responsibilities
- To implement and monitor the education policies formulated by the Education
- Management Board and approved by the Nigerian Baptist Convention.
- To nurture and supervise the schools under the Board’s supervision through her departments.
- To coordinate and periodically report the activities of the Advisory Board of Governors of the schools to the Education Management Board
- To pursue a development agenda that would ensure the provision education while generating high returns on investment
General Requirements
The candidate must:
- Be a trained teacher with at least a post graduate diploma in education
- Have a Master degree
- Have a cumulative administrative experience as a school principal for 10-15 years
- Be a Baptist y denomination
- Be Married
- Be physically and mentally fit for the position
- Not be less than forty-five and not more than fifty-five years of age
- Be a certified member of TRC of Nigeria
All candidates are to submit 15 copies of curriculum vitae with a one-page typed vision for the schools under his/her leadership as a would-be Director of Baptist Mission Schools.
Submit three referee letters, one of which must be from a member of the Baptist family.
