The Nigerian Society of Engineers is a professional body with the key mandate of enhancing the competence and professional development of its members. The Society has Its National Head Quarters in Abuja, with liaison office In Lagos and branches across all states of the country.

Legal Officer (LO01)

The Ideal candidate profile

• A good first degree in Law (LLB) and BL degree
• Minimum of 2 years post graduation relevant experience in a reputable Law firm
• Good negotiation. Problem-solving and Conflict resolution skills
• Good knowledge of the laws and regulations governing engineering profession and professional bodies and Nigeria labour laws.

• Excellent communication and Interpersonal Skills (oral a written)

Key roles & responsibilities

• Provide prompt and efficient legal services to the Society so as to minimize the Society’s contravention of stipulated role and regulations
• Protect the Society’s interest in legal matters
