Macmahon is now recruiting for a limestone quarrying project at Ewekoro in Ogun State and is seeking applications for:
Site Safety Superintendent
This position oversees safety in all areas of quarry operations. The focus of the role is to proactively facilitate, implement and support the delivery of all OH&S policies and procedures for the project and enforce the risk management process on site. The person must possess a first degree in safety or its equivalent. The applicant must have considerable experience in construction or heavy engineering and be a member of the Institute of the Nigerian safety professionals. Experience in delivery safety training (train the trainer experience) is desirable. This position requires report writing, accident investigation, experience in health safety environment and quality (ISO) systems. Any other qualification would be an advantage.

Remuneration: this position is will be paid at competitive levels, consistent with what is obtainable in the Nigerian mining and construction industry.
