Our client Galaxy Backbone Plc, is a public enterprise of the Federal Government with the mission to operate a unified information and communication Technology (ICT) infrastructure platform and services that addresses the connectivity, transversal and other technology imperatives of the ministries, in line with the ongoing expansion of operations, our client wishes to fill this vacant position below:
Head Security
Reports to: Chief Human Resources and Administration Officer
Job Objectives
To provide physical security and safety for employees, key facilities and assets of the company
Duties and Responsibilities
- Oversee a network of security operatives and vendors.
- Identify protection goals,-objectives and metrics consistent, with corporate strategic plan
- Manage the development and implementation of company security policy.
- Physical protection responsibilities will include asset protection and work- place violence
- Oversee incident response planning investigation security audits
- Work with outside consultants as appropriate for independent security audits
Job Requirements
Education:
- First degree
- Retired army personnel Major Colonel
Key Competency Requirements Knowledge
- Knowledge of all aspects of security
- Knowledge of Nigerian legal procedure
- Previous experience in security matters
Skills/Competencies
- Excellent written & oral communication skills
- Organizational and analytical skills
- Honesty and Reliability
- The ability to work on your own it take initiative
- Flexibly adept ability
- An understanding of confidentiality issues and other of the use direction
