The Governing Council, Federal College of Education (Technical), Akoka, hereby announces the vacancy position. Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for the position below:
Chief Security Officer (C.S.O.)
Duties
- i. Overall Supervision of all Security Personnel
- ii. Ensure the safety and security of the College premises/properties, including manning of Gates, Offices, Hostels, Classrooms, Security posts, Staff Quarters and Perimeter walls of the College.
- iii. Initiate, develop and coordinate all security matters
- iv. Carry out regular review of Security Policies and Procedure and make appropriate recommendation to the College management.
Qualifications
- The candidate should be an ex-Police Officer not below the rank of A.S.P. or State Security Service Officer with a minimum of First Degree from a recognized University plus National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) Certificate or have an evidence of Exemption from the Programme. Such candidates should have at least five (5) years service experience.
Condition of Service
Candidates will be entitled to the privileges and benefits specified in the Terms and Conditions of Service for Staff of Federal College of Education (Technical). Akoka and according to other conditions which may be approved from time to time by the Governing Council of the College in consultation with the National Commission for Colleges of Education
