USMAN DANFODIYO UNIVERSITY TEACHING HOSPITAL.
The Hospital belongs to the second generation Teaching Hospital in the country. The vision of the Hospital is to be a tertiary healthcare institution of choice for the provision of higher standard healthcare services, quality training and research.
Its mission id commitment to the provision of effective and efficient tertiary healthcare services which are affordable, accessible and equitable to the general public as well as training in medical education and conducting relevant researches. The Hospital is presently governed in accordance with Decree 10 of 1985 now CAP 463
CHIEF MEDICAL DIRECTOR
The chief Medical Director is the Chief Executive Officer of the Hospital. He is charged with the responsibility for the execution of the policies and matters affecting day-to-day management of the affairs of the Hospital.
QUALITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS
The Candidate for the post of the Chief Medical Director is expected to possess the following academic qualifications and personal qualities
- Be a Medical Doctor who is result-oriented and medically fit
- Have a postgraduate qualification duly registered with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria.
- Have been a consultant for at least 5 years
- Be of proven good character
- Not be more than 55 years of age.
- Any management qualification will be added advantage
CONDITION OF SERVICE
The salary is consolidated and the appointee shall enjoy benefits of office as may be approved from time to time by Federal Government of Nigeria.
