Our client operates a quick service restaurant (QSR) positioned to provide a wide range of African and continental dishes to its customers. As a result of the ongoing transformational restructuring in the company, the client requires highly motivated, ambitious and resilient individuals to further develop her business. Potential candidates must be confident, self motivated and result-orientated individuals who can provide commercial and strategic management skills to ensure that all set targets for the company are surpassed.

Head, Internal Control & Audit (NXT/BKI-M III)

The successful candidate will have the responsibility of carrying out an independent appraisal of the effectiveness of the policies, procedures and standards by which the company’s business, financial, physical and information resources are managed, He/She will ensure strict adherence with internal policies and  procedures,   controls, regulations and maintenance of quality service delivery within the company.

Skills and Competencies

• Candidate must possess a Bachelor’s degree in any management science/social science related discipline preferably in accounting
• Minimum of 5 years post-graduation experience.
• Professional qualification e.g. ICAN, ACA, ACCA, CISA will be an added advantage
• Working knowledge covering risk management, audit, financial management, customer service and processes development
• Highly analytical mind and an aptitude for problem solving
• Ability to conduct objective examination of financial and non-financial transactions and records within a defined control- risk management framework
• Ability to effectively oversee multiple audit task forces in several locations.
