Our client operates a quick service restaurant (QSR) positioned to provide a wide range of African and continental dishes to its customers. As a result of the ongoing transformational restructuring in the company, the client requires highly motivated, ambitious and resilient individuals to further develop her business. Potential candidates must be confident, self motivated and result-orientated individuals who can provide commercial and strategic management skills to ensure that all set targets for the company are surpassed.
Head, Finance & Accounts (NX T/BKI-M II)
The successful candidate will the responsible for formulating and implementing accounting policies and procedures for the company’s accounting department and ensuring that the accounting guidelines, policies and processes of the company are strictly followed. The candidate will also be responsible for producing periodic management reports, financial statements and establishing costing models for the company.
Skills and Competencies
- Candidate must possess a Bachelor’s degree in accounting (minimum 2:2)
- A minimum of 5 years post-graduation experience
- A post graduate degree or an accounting certification – ACA or ACCA will be an added advantage
- An analytical mind and high computer literacy (high proficiency level in the use of Microsoft office suite)
- Good organizational interpersonal and leadership skills
- Good communication skills and the ability to work without supervision.
- Youthful and energetic – not more than 35 years of age.
