The Governor of Ekiti State and visitor to the University of Science and Technology, Ifaki-Ekiti (USTI), Engr Segun Oni hereby notifies the Nigerian and global academic community as well as the general public of the desired to appoint the Registrar for the University
The Bursar shall be the Head of the Finance Department of the University. He/She shall be responsible to the Vice Chancellor for the day-to-day financial administration of the University
Qualifications and Experience
v Candidate must possess a good honours degree in Accounting (not below Second Class) or related discipline as well as professionally recognized * Accountancy qualification, e.g. ACMA, ACA, CPA and ACCA.
v Possession of higher degree will be an advantage.
v The candidate should have at least 15 (fifteen) years post-honours degree and ten (10) years after the professional qualification(s). In addition, the candidate must have at least ten (10) years relevant experience in a senior management position.
v Preference will be given to candidates holding the position of Deputy Bursar in a university or comparable institution.
Tenure of Bursar
The Bursar shall hold office for a term of five years and may be reappointed for a final term of five years.

xiv) Proposed date of availability for duties, if appointed.
In addition to stating the names and addresses of three referees, applicants should request their referees to forward reference on their behalf to the undersigned.
Salary and Conditions of Service
The remuneration and other conditions of service are as generally applicable to the post of Registrar in the State University System in Nigeria and as many be determined from time to time by the Government of Ekiti State/Council of the University from time to time.
