The International Institute of Tropical Agriculture seeks suitable candidates for the following position at the Institute’s Kano Station.
Position: Accounts & Treasury Officer (2-year renewable contract)
Duties:
- Successful candidate will among other things:
- Maintain Imprest Account; Reconcile bank Statement of Accounts; process expense claims; Raise oracle compatible journals; Handle all wages, assets inventory, budget and audit monitoring; Keep records and perform any other duties as may be assigned by the Supervisor.
Qualifications and Experience
- BSc/HND Accounting or ICAN PE II plus at least five years working experience in the Finance Office of a large organisation
He/she must have sound analytical mind and good knowledge of Computer Spreadsheet, Oracle applications and must be willing to put in extra hours.
Ability to communicate fluently in Hausa language is added advantage.
