TECHNICAL PROJECT MANAGER (PMRP/0001)

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, you will be responsible for planning and managing multiple portfolio of fast moving telecoms infrastructure delivery for key telecom operator and infrastructure clients.

Responsibilities

  • Managing, planning and implementing of multiple complex turnkey telecom infrastructure projects within cost time and quality.
  • Managing cross functional project and programme delivery teams and 3rd party suppliers.
  • Responsibilities for CAPEX and OPEX budget forcasting and tracking financial status of all project within a given portfolio.
  • Managing programmes and project issues and risk and providing providing comprehensive progress report to and clients.
  • Responsible for setting up the project office, designing and implementing all programme office control and service delivery using PRINCE 2 methodology to support infrastructure rollout programme.
  • Responsible for building and development new bid and project delivery processes built around   PRINCE 2 methodology.
  • Lead and own technical input to all company telecom  infrastructure bids and tender
  • Ensure quality assurance during Civil Works process.
  • Responsible for project and programme stakeholder and communicating with senior clients up to board level.

Requirements:

  • A degree in Engineering, an will be an added advantage with a minimum of 10 years of experience in telecommunications industry.
  • Strong back ground in construction of telecoms infrastructure and civil build works
  • Must have professional project certification
  • Strong skills in project planning, resource forecasting and materials costing.
  • Must show proven track record of repeated success in delivering complex and high profile telecom   infrastructure   projects      and programmes within cost, time and quality
  • Expert user in project and planning software such as MS project
  • Must possess a unique ability to understand both business and technical aspect of client supplier requirements and work with all team to design the most effective solutions.
  • Should posses an ability to manage and migrate contractor issues and risk related to site delivery.
  • Shall be fully aware of material and supply chain .
