The company is an emergent Nigerian based oil and gas service group focused primarily on the Nigerian Marine Geophysical, Geo-hazard, Construction and Geotechnical markets As part of a continuing program of growth, we are seeking to recruit suitable candidates to support our marine survey capability from near shore to deepwater environments. Successful candidates will be expected to work closely with other teams, clients and sub-contractors: only health, fit. honest male candidates with the ability to work without super vision with qualifications not less than second class upper/ upper credit need apply for this position. An excellent command of English, above average IQ will be major considerations in selecting the right candidates. However candidates with lower qualifications but with cognate work experience of five years and above may apply.
Senior Analogue Survey Engineering- (Offshore)
Qualification:
Analogue Survey Engineer is responsible for the installation, maintenance, repair and operation of the analogue geophysical survey equipment Construction operational experience i.e. Pipelay support, ROV operations, positioning support will be preferred along with familiarity with USBL, LBL Acoustics. Side Scan and Sector Scan Sonars, Single Beam and Multibeam Echo Sounders/Swathe, SBR. marine magnetometer and working knowledge of Qinsy or similar, although training can be given. A strong technical and electronic background is essential, whilst a practical ability to problem solve is necessary. Time served should be a minimum of 3 years offshore. Successful candidate will operate, maintain and repair company operated analogue and/or positioning equipment The Engineer shall have at least five years experience in the field of offshore analogue and/or digital survey acquisition and will have a proven record of supervising offshore survey engineering teams. An expatriate will be preferred for this position.
