Program Assistant, Biomedical Engineering, Abuja
Under the supervision of the Biomedical Engineer, the successful candidate will be responsible for
- To oversee all the laboratory equipment in all sites ensuring that the equipments are in good condition
- supervise all equipment installation and training at all sites
- Ensure that equipment maintenance are done as at when due
- Train laboratory Scientist/Technician to do regular maintenance and ensure that this culture is maintained.
- Maintained all laboratory equipments as at when due
- Repair of all faulty laboratory equipments
- Participate in training of facility scientist/technicians in the use of new equipments
- Provide technical assistance on the use of equipments
Qualifications
- Candidate must possess B.Sc/HND in Biomedical engineering or Electrical electronic engineering
- Should have minimum of 2 years previous experience in the installation and maintenance of laboratory equipments and analyzers
- Experience in maintaining equipments like Vitros DT 60 II, V250, Sysmex and cyflow analyzers will be an advantage.
General Requirement
- This position require candidate that are proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite and Internet/Emails
- Significant amounts of travel required for this position
