Requirement
The ideal candidates should have the following:
- Candidate must possess B.Sc or HND in Quantity Surveying, Mechanical or Structural Engineering, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics and Statistics or any numerate discipline, ‘
- Should not less than 5 years working experience in Onshore/Offshore construction / fabrication industry or in an allied sector
- Must be computer literate and able to use PRIMAVERA and MICROSOFT Project Planning Soft ware thoroughly.
- Previous Offshore /Onshore Construction/ fabrication experience in the Oil and Gas industry is very necessary
- A thorough knowledge of Commercial Technical Tendering, especially for the Oil & Gas sector and with good communication skills
- Be prepared to travel between Port Harcourt and Warri in the discharge of his duties.
- The person should be between 30 – 45 years age bracket
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, monitor and analyze construction progress, material delivery schedules, manpower and productively subcontractors performance and schedule impacts and deviation
- Monitor and analyze Contractor’s master project schedules detailed engineering and construction task and advise the Construction Superintendent of deviations and problems and recommended solutions.
- Understand the Contract documents and all related information. Any relevant questions regard these documents will be answered by him, via Construction Superintendent.
- Keeps Fabrication Meager in charge. fully informed on the cost/estimate states and notes reasons for change deviations/market inflation trends and cost forecasts
- Maintain/accumulate cost of stock valuation, prices control, profit measure and advise management.
- Ensure adequate internal control over company’s costing process/policies.
- Preparation of a monthly cost report forecast and maintain continuous evaluation of the total project cost status etc.
