Our Client is a newly established agency of the Rivers State Government. It is responsible for providing an enabling environment for planning, infrastructural development control, investment promotions and housing projects, amongst others in the area known as Greater Port Harcourt in Rivers State

SAMUELSON has been engaged by the agency to identify exceptional, proactive experienced and versatile individuals to fill the position below in the establishment.

Position: Manager, Electrical Engineering (Ref: MEE)

Qualifications / Skills:

• A University Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field, with a minimum of second class division
• A combination of training, education and experience in Engineering procedures and practices
• Experience in a large scale engineering projects
• IT/IS proficiency-A must
• Membership of COREN & NSE will be an added advantage

Responsibilities / Scope of Work

• Develops and implements a proactive and structured approach to problem diagnosis, presentation and solution development as regards electrical projects and installations
• Develops specifications for electrical designs
• Carries out maintenance of public infrastructure as appropriate
• Prepares technical reports

Requirements

• Minimum of 12 years post qualification experience
• Strong verbal, written communication & intersectorial skills
• Between 35 & 45 years of age
• Good MS Office skills – Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Postgraduate degree and/or professional qualifications will be a distinct advantage.
