Adamawa State Government is establishing an Agency for Community and Social Development Project (ADACSDR) which would in the first instance be responsible for implementing a 5 years World Bank Assisted Project. The ADACASDP has the main objective to increase access of poor
people (in rural communities) to improved social and natural resources infrastructure services in a sustainable manner through the provision of grant support to beneficiaries for identifying, prioritizing, implementation and maintenance of community-driven micro-projects and under Approved Community Development Plans.
The Adamawa State Government requires the services of the principal officer for the CSDP.

GENERAL MANAGER
Roles and Responsibilities
The GM Shall:
“ Be the Chief Executive of the Agency and shall be responsible for carrying out the day-to-day activities of the Agency.
“ Exercise powers and functions of the Agency as provided for in the Project Implementation Manual.
“ Be in-charge of general administration of the Community Social Development Agency (CSDA) manage the project personnel.
“ Be the accounting officer of the Agency/Project, give approval for proposal of CDPs recommended by the Agency Management Committee.
“ Identify Policy Issues emergency from the field.
Qualification and Experience
A university degree in Social Sciences, Natural Sciences, Engineering and/or any other relevant degree with at least fifteen years post-qualification experience in the private or public sector, five of which must he at management level. An experience in the management of rural development projects shall be an added advantage.
Remuneration
The advertised post attracts attractive remunerations commensurate with the mode of entry and in accordance with agreed terms with the World Bank.
