Suitably qualified candidate is urgently needed for the position below , an exciting and challenging opportunity has arisen for the position of Technical Project Manager for a telecommunication infrastructure company in Lagos. This role offers great scope for career progression within a young and dynamic entrepreneurial organization.

Reporting to the Chief Executive officer, you will be responsible for Planning and managing multiple portfolios’ of fast moving telecoms infrastructure delivery project for key telecom operator and infrastructure clients.

Experience Project Manager (Lagos) – PMRP/0001

Responsibilities

• Managing, planning and implementation of multiple complex, turnkey telecoms infrastructure projects within cost time and quality
• Managing cross functional project and program delivery teams and 3^rd party suppliers
• Responsible for CAPEX and OPEX budget forecasting and tracking financial status of all projects within a given portfolio
• Managing programme and project issues and risk and providing comprehensive progress reports to management and clients.
• Responsible for setting up the project office, designing and implementing all programme office control and service delivery using PRINCE 2 methodology to support infrastructure rollout programme.
• Responsible for building  and developing new bid and project delivery processes built around PRINCE 2 methodology
• Lead and own technical input to all company telecom infrastructure bids and tenders
• Ensure quality assurance during Civil works process
• Responsible for project and programme stakeholder management and communicating with senior clients up to board level.

Requirements

• A degree in Engineering, an MBA will be an added advantage with a minimum of 10 years experience in telecommunications industry
• Strong back ground in construction of telecoms infrastructure and civil build works
• Must have professional project management certification
• Strong skills in project planning, resource forecasting and materials costing.
• Must show proven track record of repeated success in delivering complex and high profile telecom infrastructure project  and programmes within cost, time and quality
• Expert user in project management and planning software such as MS project
• Must possess a unique ability to understand both business and technical aspects of clients and supplier requirements and work with all team to design the most effective solutions
• Should possess an ability to manage and mitigate contractor issues and risks related to site delivery.
• Shall be fully aware of material and supply chain management.
