Electrical Design Engineer
Duties and responsibilities: Create electrical engineering designs and produce engineering construction designs for high voltage electrical engineering projects. Prepare design for electrical equipment including drawings, scopes, and technical specifications. Develop Bill of Materials, estimates and drawings for electrical engineering projects. Provide project support with respect to defining the scope, conducting design reviews for compliance with industry standards, quality assurance issues, inspection and commissioning. Outlines design intent requirements and objectives
Qualification:
- B Degree in Electrical Engineering. At least (10) years working experience, including seven (7) years as lead electrical design engineer.
- Experience in initiating designs related to Electrical (high and low voltage) systems
- Strong working knowledge Electrical Engineering Design, Bill of materials Engineering, operations and Maintenance a must.
- Crafts training to use electrical tools and test instruments to conduct field survey and use of engineering instruments in plotting the design required
- Excellent computer skills
- Familiarity with electrical software used in electrical design used in developing various fields of electrical design of low and high voltage power distribution, grounding systems and lighting design.
- Ability to travel if needed within outside Nigeria
