National Metallurgical Development Centre is a Federal Government Parastatal under the Ministry of Mines and Steel Development. It is a Research Organization with the mandate to undertake researches aimed at upgrading the qualities of Nigeria Ores for Steel and other Metallurgical productions, particularly through beneficiation of Local Iron Ore and other Solid Minerals.

Qualification:
- PH.D in Metallurgical Engineering/Metallurgy/Material Science and at least sixteen (16) years cognate work experience
Job Responsibilities:
- Design of research projects in the metallurgical field
