With a degree (or its equivalent) qualification and teaching experience in specific core subject areas of:

- Financial Accounting/Economics
- Biology/Agricultural Science
- Physical and Health Education (PHE)
- Fine Art
- Home Economics/Food & Nutrition
- Laboratory Science (Laboratory Assistant).
