The Governor of Ekiti State and visitor to the University of Science and Technology, Ifaki-Ekiti (USTI), Engr Segun Oni hereby notifies the Nigerian and global academic community as well as the general public of the desired to appoint the Registrar for the University
The Registrar shall be the Head of the Registry Department of the university and shall be responsible to the Vice-Chancellor for the day-to-day administrative activities of the university except as regards those for which the Deputy Vice-Chancellors and Bursar are responsible. He/She shall be Secretary to Council, Senate and Congregation.
Qualification and Experience
Candidate must possess a good honours degree (not below Second Class) and a Masters Degree
Should have at least fifteen (15) years post-qualification administrative or professional experience, with a minimum of ten (10) years at the senior management level.
Preference will be given to candidate position of Deputy Registrar in a university or comparable institution. The candidate must demonstrate innovative abilities and drive.
Tenure of Registrar
The Registrar shall hold office for a term of five years and may be reappointed for a final term of five years.

xiv) Proposed date of availability for duties, if appointed.
In addition to stating the names and addresses of three referees, applicants should request their referees to forward reference on their behalf to the undersigned.
Salary and Conditions of Service
The remuneration and other conditions of service are as generally applicable to the post of Registrar in the State University System in Nigeria and as many be determined from time to time by the Government of Ekiti State/Council of the University from time to time.
