POLYTECHNIC LIBRARIAN
Duties
The polytechnic librarian is one of the principal officers of the institution and shall be responsible to the rector for the administration of the polytechnic library, co-ordination of the library service in the teaching departments of the polytechnic, and any other duties that may be assigned to him by the rector.
Qualifications
Interested candidates should posses’ good honours degree in library science or equivalent qualification from recognized University with at list 15 years experience.
He/she should also be registered with relevant professional body/bodies, possession of Higher degrees will be an added advantage.
Salary
The salary attached to the position is CONTISS 14.
Conditions of service
The successful candidate shall be appointed for a term of five years in the first instance, and have the appointment renewed for a second term of five years, and no more, subject to satisfactory performance. Other conditions of service are credentials are as applicable in other federal polytechnic.
