A major international organization managing a large programme to support the reform and strengthening of the systems in Nigeria is recruiting qualifies professional staff to fill position based in Lagos. The programme supports the Federal and State Ministries of Health in transforming the health financing, management and delivery of sustainable health services, and represents a major development initiative that seeks to enhance the development policies and strategies and stronger accountability mechanisms

  • Significant prior experience working in programme funded by international donors, strongly preferable in the health sector
  • Excellent , interpersonal, capacity-building, training, organization and management skills
  • Ability to work and deliver under intense pressure
  • Dedicated team player with demonstrated interpersonal, result-oriented, and decision making skills.
  • Ability and willingness to travel frequently to programme sites throughout the State and for Country

THE WEB MASTER

  • Will support the Federal Ministry of Health and State Ministry of Health to develop further the content, and to manage the information (text, audio and visual) and organization of its site
  • S/he will create landing pages for each State from the FMOH site, building to full site
  • S/he will support the FMOH and SMOH to continue to manage the technical programming it and content development of the site
  • S/he will help to evolve a new from page for the project in keeping with its relationships with partners and with links to FMOH and SMOH sites so that the project site can be found as a landing page from those sites
  • Also, support face to face training activities, such as workshops and seminars and assist in the delivery of the above tasks as required.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree (minimum) or Master’s degree (desirable) in , Communications, or other relevant field
  • Four(4) years of experience as a media producer for a development organization relevant to the target area
  • Experience of designing hosting, maintaining and updating a website
  • Excellent computer skills, including the use of word processing and spread sheet software
  • Demonstrate ability to administrate and maintain a (CMS) such as WordPress, Phone, Drupal or Joomla
  • Ability to define and implement processes to support capturing content for the website, reporting to management and editorial needs
  • A good understanding of what makes for good web content, with demonstrable online professionalism
  • Good public skills with an appreciation visual design and branding
  • S/he must also have experience in project management
