Since 1971, Family Health International (FHI) has been at the forefront of public health research and intervention program in the developing countries. In collaboration with national governments, local communities and leading research institution FHI delivers services and conducts research in HIV/AIDS, other infectious diseases and reproductive health to improve it lives and well-being of some of the world’s most vulnerable populations. In Nigeria, FHI is engaged in providing public health services and implementing programs in HIV/AIDS, TB, reproductive health, malaria, and health systems strengthening partnership with the Government of Nigeria. To strengthen our operations in the country, we are seeking qualified candidates to fill the post of:

 Web Content Administrator

 Location: Country Office

The Web Content Administrator will work within the Communications Department to implement and maintain FHI website and other associated websites.

 Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in strategic relationship by ensuring that FHI Nigeria website content meets the needs of the target audience
  • Lead the maintenance and updating of FHI Nigeria and all other associated websites
  • Meet with editing, marketing and design teams to plan and develop site content, style and appearance
  • Use web content systems to analyze website usage statistics
  • Promote about the website to target customers and partners
  • Carry out quality assurance checks on content
  • Contribute to improving the visibility of FHI and its publications on the web
  • Contribute to the continuing development of FHI website and other associated websites, especially the press room, in terms of communicational content, structure, and design
  • Copy-edit and proofread all web content to ensure appropriate dissemination of to FHI stakeholders
  • Organize qualitative analyses of the website and its use by the media and general public
  • Work with cross-functional teams and maintain and develop the master content calendar for all web properties
  • Coordinate web projects across departments
  • Create, develop and manage content for the organization’s web presence (requires working with content software)
  • Develop SoPs on current tasks and collaborate to develop and implement a new dissemination platform

 Minimum Requirements

  • University degree or equivalent with 5 years experience preferably in , content , or
  • Experience with web technology and web page template generation
  • Knowledge of web auditory tools
  • Relevant work experience in public relations and working knowledge of the print and electronic media
  • Exceptional writing skills, both online and offline
  • Excellent , team working and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced deadline-driven environment
