Qualification and Experience
- Candidate must possess a Bachelor’s degree or HND in Computer Science or Computer Engineering with at least two years experience in directly related work of administration and support of computer networks maintenance.
- Certificate in Microsoft products and A certification in repair of computer network,
The Job
To install deploy, maintain, troubleshoot and backup the Windows, Linux and Solaris-based servers. Specific duties are, but not limited to:
- Updating and maintaining service
- Performing scheduled backups of data on services for disaster recovery and update procedure;
- Evaluating and determining workstation configuration and requirements for end-users;
- Assisting in the installation of network equipment and cabling and performing setups to meet user needs;
- Monitoring the Library network;
- Assisting in evaluating, planning and determining new projects and executing existing projects;
- Performing Helpdesk activities:
- Administering the operation of effective virus protection on all services;
- Monitoring and maintaining network security
Salary: CONTISS 7 (N1, 073, 21700 -N1, 589,508.00)
