Position: Librarian

Duties

The Centre Librarian is responsible to the Director General for the administration of the Mathematical Sciences Library and the coordination of Library Services in the Centre The NMC Library is essentially a reference Library to the Nigerian and West African Universities in the Mathematical Sciences.

Qualifications/Experience

Applicants must possess the following:-

• A minimum of Masters Degree in Library and Information Science from a recognized University.
• The candidate must have a minimum of 25 years post graduation experience in an academic library and must have worked as Deputy University Librarian or equivalent for at least 5 years.
• He must also show evidence of research publications in library and information science, and have a thorough understanding of modem technologies in library operations and must be computer literate.

Basic Salary:       -        CONTISS 11 for University Librarians
