The Nigerian Urban Reproductive Health initiative (NURHI) seeks applications from qualified individuals to contribute to improved maternal health and reduced child mortality through increased contraceptive prevalence rates in selected urban areas in Nigeria.

Position: IT Consultant
The It consultant is responsible for providing technical maintenance and support for computer and information systems for the NURHI project on an as needed/on call basis. The IT consultant will provide all necessary maintenance, servicing and problem solving for al NURHI computer hardware, software and audio-visual equipment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
- Provide assistance with the selection and support of computer hardware and software for use in NURHI project activities
- Assist in training NURHI staff in the use of computer hardware and software relevant to the project
- Facilitates correct implementation and maintenance of project data systems and voice communication systems.
Qualifications/Education and/or Experience
- Must demonstrate a strong technical knowledge of a wide variety of web, software, database, and Hardware Platforms
- Experience with Microsoft Office software and windows system applications, servicing both PC and MAC operating systems
- Ability to learn and adapt new information technologies to a project setting
- Bachelor’s degree in Information systems, computer Science or other related field.
- Five years of information technology/systems experience
