Job Specification
- Responsible for developing and enhancing business systems in order to ensure they function more efficiently.
- Understand business goals and needs in order to translate functional specifications into technical specifications and application functionality,
- Develop new customized (portions of) business systems or make changes to existing ones by researching, designing and writing program codes that adhere to PNG standard programming procedures and meet functional specifications.
- Fix bugs in previously customized solutions.
- Document codes for fixes using available tools. Adhere to version control & upgrade standards.
- Assist analysts in resolving system problems as assigned by the development supervisor.
- Resolve issues taking into consideration priorities, severity, etc. Work with other developers (Internal and External) in finding the most efficient solutions to system issues.
- Develop Customized Reports/enhance existing reports using available development tools.
- Test the reports to ensure accuracy and functional requirements compliance.

Qualification
- B.sc (Minimum Second Class Lower) /HND (Minimum Lower Credit) in Computer Science, Information technology, Electrical Electronic Engineering or any other related course.
Person Specification:
- Minimum of 3 years programming experience preferably in C or Pascal, Not more than 30 years
