Position: Strategic Research and Communication officer

Qualifications and Requirements

• B.A or B.Sc Mass Communication or Arts. Humanities or Social Sciences with at least a second Class Lower Division.
• Membership of Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR)
• Possession of Higher Degree will be an added advantage.
• Must be computer literate with proficiency in MS PowerPoint. MS Word. MS Access, MS Excel.
• Minimum of ten (10) years post qualification cognate experience
• Candidates must have documented scholarly publications.

Duties

• Initiates and implements the communication strategies of the University
• Provide strategic guidance to coverage team on overall team program and communication strategies.
• Responsible for submitting materials to publishers of Telephone Directors, Association of Commonwealth Universities Yearbook.
• Responsible for collecting, collating and compiling of materials for internal publications such as the university Calendar, student handbook, calendar events, prospectus, annual Reports, newsletters, news bulletin, pamphlets and brochures.
• Respond to request for research and access to University data and copy right permission
• Maintain and updating of strategic research data on the University.

Salary

• Point to entry will depend on qualifications and cognate experience
