The State Partnership for Accountability Responsiveness and Capability (SPARC) is a major programme funded by the UK government’s Department for International Development and managed by HTSPE Ltd assisting the Nigerian Government to build on governance reform already under way in five states (Enugu, Jigawa, Kaduna, Kano and Lagos) and at Federal level. The programme started in September 2008 and will run for six years.
We are now looking for a professional to join the SPARC team, a new senior position based in Abuja.
National Administration Manager
Responsibilities include assisting the National Finance and Admin. Manager and supporting the five State Finance and Admin Manager in
(i) Human resource management,
(ii) General administration
(iii) Logistics and
(iv) Security of the whole programme.
The position might require some travel in the above-mentioned states.
The job requirements are as follows.
- Candidate must possess University degree, preferably in business administration, human resource management or other relevant education background combined with relevant management experience.
- Minimum 5 years experience in admin/HR/logistics for international organizations, of which min 2 years at supervisory grade.
- Conversant with local labour legislations.
- Proactive approach and the ability to think outside the box” when developing solution and strategies independent self driven and able to handle multi-tasks with detail-minded.
- Team player who requires minimum supervision; able to communicate with staff of all levels and cultural backgrounds; strong analytical and negotiation skills.
- Political, legal and cultural awareness from working experience in Nigeria.
- Proven skills and experience in report writing.
- Good command of written and spoken English.
- Computer literate.
