An International Organization managing a large programme to support the Strengthening of the health care system in Nigeria is recruiting qualified professional staff to fill a senior level technical position and a junior/mid level administrative position.

The programme provides technical assistance in health systems strengthening in Nigeria. The programme addresses the financing, governance, operational, and capacity-building constraints that block access to and use of priority population, health, and nutrition services in the country. The programme shares an office with another programme of the same organization and is located in Abuja.

Health Systems Strengthening Project Assistant:

Will support the HSS Liaison Officer and international headquarters staff with all administrative and operations related tasks for the programme. S/he will coordinate in-country logistics for all programme events, assists with programme procurement at the local level, maintains financial and technical reporting systems and prepares reports for headquarters staff, and ensures compliance with both USAID and the organization’s financial reporting procedures.

Qualification Requirements include

Bachelors Degree in Business Administration and office management. Demonstrated competency in financial management and coordination of events logistics is required. Experience working for an international organization and with USAID programmes is a plus.
