The Commonwealth of Learning (COL), an agency of the Commonwealth is committed to the promotion of education as a fundamental tool for the development of people and organizations in the development of people and organizations in the developing world. COL offers in partnership with Open and Distance Learning (ODL) institutions in Africa the CEMBA/CEMPA programmes to the people of Ghana, Mauritius, Nigeria and Tanzania.
The CEMBA/CEMPA programmes are designed to help practicing professionals; managers and public officers gain a higher level of competency in their respective functions, and gain a broader international experience. The programmes are offered through distance education, a learner-oriented system allowing greater flexibility in learning while students continue their regular work. At the heart of the programmes are the excellent learning materials. The programmes lead to a Commonwealth Executive MBA degree and Commonwealth Executive MPA degree. Qualifications Required
To qualify, candidates should
Have at least a Ph.D degree in Management or Economics or Public Administration;
Candidate should be at least a senior lecturer with a minimum of three years of corporate experience and some bias in quantitative techniques and practical administrative techniques.
Major Responsibilities
To assist students in solving problems related to the comprehension of their instructional materials in from of tutorial.
To perform advisory roles necessary in ensuring successful completion of the MBA and/or MPA programmes.
To participate in assessment of students performance in assigned courses.
