Further to our earlier publication in The Guardian Newspaper of November 3^rd, 2009, we wish to add that the National Employment Training Scheme (NETS) is a raining programme of The Institute For Advanced e-Studies (IAeS). IAeS is forging a synergy with the National Directorate of Employment (NDE) in line with the mandate of the NDE which is the provision of jobs for all. The training seeks to equip the unemployed with the functional skills required by employers in different sectors of the economy. The National Employment Training Scheme will thus produce competent local capacity that can access employment opportunities in the various sectors of the  economy. Under the scheme, unemployed Nigerians will be trained free of charge. Successful graduate of the training will subsequently be placed as interns with participating companies such as collaborating banks, telecommunications companies as well as oil and gas firms. Interns who excel during this period of internship will, at the discretion of the participating firms, be considered for permanent employment.

• Candidate must possess Bachelors degree in an field
• Should also have HND in any field.

The system will automatically match your email address with     your phone number for authenticity before permission is given for registration.          This is to ensure that one registration person is allowed.

Please Note:

• The registration and examination process will be conducted online to ensure the convenience of the participants and to assure the integrity of the selection process.
• Application to write the examination has commenced and will close on the 30^th of November, 2009.
• The examination will hold on the 5^th of December, 2009 between the hours of 8.00am and 5.00pm.
• Candidates can write the examinations from anywhere in Nigeria.
• Training will be held by the institute for Advanced e-Studies at their centres in Abuja, Enugu, Lagos and Port Harcourt and will commence on the 11^th of January, 2009.
• Spaces available are limited.
