The Nigerian Urban Reproductive Health initiative (NURHI) seeks applications from qualified individuals to contribute to improved maternal health and reduced child mortality through increased contraceptive prevalence rates in selected urban areas in Nigeria .
NURHI is looking for dynamic, hardworking individuals to join our team for the below position in Abuja.
Position: Administrative/Human Resource/Logistics Officer
The administrative/human resource/logistics officer is responsible for the day-to-day management and oversight for NURHI office logistics, human resources and administrative tasks.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
- Manage project vehicles, log sheets and transport logistics;
- Assist with office management logistics and compliance with project policies, and purchasing and procurement protocol;
- Maintain and update equipment log;
- Provide support in the recruitment and selection of project support staff and consultants;
- Assist with work-related travel arrangements for NURHI staff, visitors and consultants;
- Maintain office calendar, and perform other related duties as necessary.
Qualifications/Education and/or Experience
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, management, good problems solving and independent thinking skills.
- Ability to read, analyze and Interpret general procedures and governmental regulations.
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedures manuals.
- Proficiency using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and Power point)
- University Degree Certificates in office administration and HR management
- Minimum 3 years experience working office, preferably an NGO environment
