Van Luin Foods is leading distributor of food products and services looking for a Logistic Coordinator to join the OPS team in our Stamford , CT corporate office!
The qualified candidate will report to logistic manager on a daily basis. He will maintain and develop all logistical activities associated with purchasing, inventory, transfer and transportation of products by trucks, railcars, containers and break-bulk vessels.
. Duties and Responsibilities
* Efficient management ,tracking and communication of PO/SO
* ยท Maintain interactive relationships with suppliers and final customers
* verifying documentation of all goods both received and shipped
* Track and report the inventory and shipping/receiving records of product
* Maintain an orderly documentation flow by complying with company policy and Standard Operating Procedures
Requirements:
* Good organizational skills, excellent verbal and written communication and math skills.
* Ability to effectively manage time, set priorities, meet time requirements and commitments
* Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Outlook and Word).
* Minimum 2-3 years experience in international logistics.
* Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time, working independently.
* Excellent communication skills
* Strong problem solving skills
* Negotiations skills
* Ability to work in a team environment
* Foreign languages : especially Russian is a plus
