Position Description:

The Technical (TMM) is the primary point of contact for all issues from the field related to solution and product direction.​ Candidate provides product and solution support including but not limited to oriented presentations, solutions demos and/​or conducting training.​ Has the ability to communicate the value proposition of the business unit and the respective lines-of-business.​ The successful candidate is self-directional in terms of maintaining market awareness as related to technology partners and competitors.​ This is a Sr.​ level individual contributor position responsible for developing an expert level of knowledge of all products related to the MSM DM business unit.

Position Requirements:

• Collects, from business unit field teams, clients and representative, business and technical information regarding requirements and determines whether BMC solutions technically satisfy these requirements.
• Comprehensively data mine the prospects environment using a given methodology Develops ROI models for solutions related to the line of business and ESM strategies.​ Define and generates
• Provides with presentation materials, demonstrations, and competitive information
• Works with the business unit field teams, development, and the teams to resolve complex aspects within the cycles.​ Identifies potential enhancements to the BMC solution set based on customer feedback and personal experiences
• Develops new product strategy, definition, positioning, and packaging
• Design, build and maintain customized demonstrations of BMC solutions for prospective clients and training.​ Presents and delivers these demonstrations
• Participates in calls and is responsible for explaining the capabilities of BMC’s solution versus our competition.
• Responsible for training others in the value proposition of areas related to the ESM business unit
• Manage successful product launches and re-launches.
• Works with the business unit field teams to define and technical strategies in dealing with the client.​ Communicates his/​her perception of the success of the strategy.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must
• Candidate must be comfortable in creating documents from researched data in any form necessary to meet and customer requirements.
• Candidate must be able to create and present presentations in formal setting.
• Must have technical Skills in the operations of DB2 z/​OS.
